About the Artwork/Design: 

This art print is inspired by the outline of my “S series” of abstract sculptures, which are central to my creative practice and influence much of my design work. Symmetry is key to these forms, drawing on balanced shapes seen in nature—like seeds, leaves, and fish—as well as in human-made objects such as boats and airships.

This print turns the outline of the “S series” sculptures, into a graphic element. By reducing the sculptural form to its simplest contours and splitting it in half along its line of symmetry, I was able to experiment with colour relationships to reimagine it as a vibrant abstract composition.
